HOW DOES IT WORK?

SkinPen induces the skin’s innate wound healing mechanism by generating numerous “micro” skin punctures every second. This process encompasses inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling, effectively initiating tissue renewal without the formation of scar tissue. Typically, patients can resume their regular activities within a 24-hour timeframe.

WHO IS IT FOR?

SkinPen offers clinically proven solutions to combat neck wrinkles and diminish the visibility of acne scars. Impressively, 90% of participants in our clinical trial endorsed the treatment for friends and family. This minimally invasive, in-office procedure boasts minimal downtime. As the pioneering FDA-cleared microneedling device, SkinPen establishes the gold standard for safety. Unlike certain alternatives, SkinPen’s efficacy has been clinically demonstrated across all Fitzpatrick Skin Types I – VI for both women and men. Unlike lasers or chemical peels that may harm skin over time, SkinPen treatments, when supervised by a physician and properly spaced, can be safely utilized for extended periods.

MICRONEEDLING 101

Microneedling creates thousands of microchannels that stimulate your body’s natural wound healing process, while minimizing cellular damage. This rejuvenates your skin from the inside out. SkinPen is the first FDA-cleared microneedling device on the market and is clinically proven to improve the appearance of wrinkles of the neck and acne scars. MICRONEEDLING WITH PRF

Microneedling creates thousands of microchannels that stimulate your body’s natural wound healing process, while minimizing cellular damage. This rejuvenates your skin from the inside out. Great for acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, surgical scars, stretch marks, reduces acne & blackheads.

Combined with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), the healing process is significantly reduced as the PRF stimulates growth in cells and recovers skin damage. PRF lowers the duration of redness and swelling typically seen after conventional microneedling. Lastly, new collagen and elastin will naturally form and leave you with a beautiful skin tone and texture.

When compared to PRP, PRF contains approximately 10 times the platelet concentration that is found within the body, whereas PRP contains roughly 2-5 times. PRP releases growth factors for a few hours and PRF releases them for up to a week. This slow release is thought to have more robust, longer-lasting results.
